* Thursday, December 18 2025- Winter Concert 6:30 pm in the Chavis Gym- MANDATORY
*January 26 -27 2026 - All-County Choral Clinic
*March 30 2026 - Tentative 6th Grade Chorus Community Holy Week Service Field Trip
*Late April 2026 - 8th Grade Chorus Field Trip (it's a surprise!)
*Tuesday, May 5 2026 - Spring Concert 6:30 pm in the Chavis Gym - MANDATORY

*July 1 2025- 6th grade instrument assignments will be emailed to parents/guardians
*August 8 2025- 6th graders secure instruments and purchase accessories for the 2025-26 school year by this date please

*CHORUS ATTIRE FOR CONCERTS/FIELD TRIPS*
*In an effort to present a uniform look for performances, we will wear tee shirts with a Chavis Chorus emblem and jeans (no large holes please). The shirts are to be purchased from the school for $15. Cash, check, money order, or cards through School Cash Online will be accepted for payment. Money is due by October 31st. Students need to provide their own jeans. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at 704 836 9606 (school), or emlamanna@gaston.k12.nc.us.
