To Infinity... and Beyond

Welcome to third and fourth grade!  This year our class will be blasting off on the adventure of a lifetime into outer space as we immerse ourselves in our own solar system, and well beyond. We'll be dreaming big and imagining the immense possibilities of our universe and our place in it. Our class motto that we'll be implementing this year is; "Don't wish for it.  Work for it." Together we'll work hard to make all our wishes come true this school year.
"I'm coming back in... and it's the saddest moment of my life."

Ed White expresses his sorrow at the conclusion of the first American spacewalk during the Gemini 4 mission on 3 June 1965.

"I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small."

Neil Armstrong on looking back at the Earth from the Moon in July 1969.

Welcome back for another exciting year of learning! Expand your horizons and your possibilities for learning are limitless. This year prepare to be inspired:

We are astronauts in training! On the first day we tried to walk on the moon in moon shoes, work a robotic arm, fixed the space station wearing space suit gloves, made constellation clusters, dropped real meteorites on the surface of the moon to make craters, launched rockets into the heavens, ate freeze dried space food, and made astronaut pudding.  We had a blast!
