"A mind once stretched by a new idea never regains its original dimensions."
Welcome to my classroom web page! I wanted to introduce myself, so that you can get to know me. I am currently teaching gifted and talented math and reading to 4th and 5th graders at Blacklick Elementary. I love teaching children and helping them work to succeed and realize their full potential.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Miami University. I also have my Masters in Education in curriculum and instruction talent development education from Ashland University. Blacklick Elementary has been my home for the past fourteen years, and I am looking forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead in the GATE program this year.
I am thrilled to get to know you and your child. Take a look around my portal. I will be sending home newsletters once a month and keeping you posted on the latest projects for class. I encourage you to keep the communication open and let me know if there is anything that I can do to help your child with their Blacklick years. If you need to reach me, here are some ways to contact me.
