ImPACT is the neurocognitive testing program used with analysis of concussions or traumatic brain injury (TBI). (A computerized baseline assessment/test.)
mCORE is the cardiac screening program available as an OPTION to athletes at Gahanna schools for a nominal fee.
Preventing some knee injuries, especially the ACL tear, is the goal of the large hinged polycarbonate & metal braces seen on offensive linemen in particular. Some Volleyball & Soccer players are starting to wear them as well, as a preventative measure. The Donjoy PPT will provide information about this.
