Welcome to Honors Geometry! This course was designed for students who really enjoy mathematics and want to be challenged. Since it is a high school honors course, there may be times in which you could use a little extra help. Please feel free to speak with me at any time and we can set up a time to meet and help you feel more confident with the material. It is really important that you work hard and don't allow yourself to fall behind. If you do fall behind, see me immediately and we can work together to get you caught up.

I generally encourage students to have a folder with pockets in the front and the back and clips in the middle to hold paper. Students of course may select a three ring binder as well.
- Pencils (colored pencils are also very useful)
- Graph paper
- Notebook paper
- Calculator (students will
be allowed to use a calculator during the first nine weeks on homework, quizzes, or tests). Any calculator with sine, cosine, and tangent will do. However, if you are looking to purchase a new calculator, I would recomment the TI-83 or TI-84 brand of graphing calculators. Students will need one for Algebra II and they will last through all high school courses.__not__ - Compass (needed 2nd nine weeks)
Below you will find the assignment calendars for each month. |
