Junior Championship
We played our 4th Junior championship match away to Ringtown on Tuesday the 27th of August. Despite playing very well on the night we went down by a score of 3-9 to 0-12. Ronan Farrell was best for us on the night, as he gave an exhibition of corner forward play. The result was in doubt right up to injury time when a goal and a point for Ringtown snatched victory from our grasp. This result now means that we must win our next match agasint Turin to qualify for the semi-finals.

County representation
Congratulations to Adrian Garvey and Sean Kilgariff who were on the Westmeath Under 16 team who captured the Under 16 'B' All Ireland hurling title on the weekend when defeating Kerry in the final. The tournament was hosted by Westmeath. Well done to the team and mentors on retaining the Adrian Murray trophy.
Well done also to Fionn Dowd and Breen Elliott who played on the county Under 15 side in their fixture against Wexford.
