Our Junior team started our championship campaign versus Oliver Plunketts in Robinstown last Wednesday the 8th. We lost the match by a scoreline of 2-14 to 0-17. Our forwards all played well with Frank Kelly 0-2, Ronan Keogh 0-2 and Gavin Daly 0-3 forming a dangerous inside line. However Plunketts did well to strike over some long range scores and their 2 goals proved the difference on the day. We have an early opportunity to get our campaign back on track when we host St. Brigids on Monday the 13th in Pairc Ciaran.
