  • Intermediate footballers were beaten by Castleknock after Extra Time in the championship game on Saturday evening.  The game was a great advertisement for the championship with both teams showing commitment, energy and skill throughout.  
  • Juniors had a good win in their championship game v St Brendans on Sunday and are looking forward to their next round game.  
  • Best wishes to the Ladies who play Championship games this week  
  • Another draw for the Minors, this time in their final hurling league game before the Leaving Cert break. 
  • Under 8s welcomed St Finians to the Club on Saturday for some great football games while U9 games were deferred due to First Communion celebrations in other clubs. 
  • Under 13 girls had a great win in a high scoring game on Saturday afternoon while the Under 15 boys had a great win in their football game on Thursday evening.
  • On Sunday, the Under 14 Girls won their Division 1 game while the Under 16s lost out in theirs.
  • Special General Meeting to review and plan for Club activity is scheduled for Monday 26th May at 8.30pm.  All are welcome to attend and participate in this important Club meeting.  
  • Club Blitz and Open Day is scheduled for Sunday 1st June.  All 4-12 year olds are welcome to take part and enjoy the tournament.  Lots of games and activities planned for the day. 
  • Blitz for 12-15 year olds takes places on Friday 30th May - more details to follows.   
  • Best wishes to Lewis Cassidy recovering from an injury received in the championship game on Saturday. 
  • Well done to the Dublin Minor football team on their win v Meath in the championship.

  • Great to see the Dublin teams doing well over the weekend - congratulations to the Minor hurlers and Ladies on their wins andespecially to the footballers on achieving back to back League titles.  
  • A busy weekend in the Club with lots of fixtures across all the age groups.  
  • The Under 8s enjoyed their wins on their trip to Swords on Saturday morning while the Under 9s and 10s welcomed local Clubs Clontarf and Naomh Barrog to the Club in difficult weather conditions.  
  • This week it's all about football championship in the Adult mens competitions.  
  • On Thursday, the Junior championship game v Ballinteer St Johns throws in at 7pm in Clontarf.  
  • Then on Friday, its Intermediate championship v Garda at 8.15pm in Balgriffin.  
  • Support would be much appreciated and very welcome for both games.  
  • The hurling championships began last weekend with a loss to Trinity Gaels in the 1st round fixture.  
  • There will be a full round of juvenile fixtures at the weekend too. Keep an eye on the club Twitter account as well as Facebook and the Website for updates on forthcoming fixtures. Support is always welcome!

  • Hope everyone enjoyed the Easter break with the Brian Boru Millennium Festival in St Annes park a highlight for many members.  
  • A big clean up on Friday last in the Club took advantage of the great weather.  Thanks to everyone who supported the work with special mention for Sean and Tomás and their efforts.  
  • While there were no games at the weekend, midweek fixtures are underway in earnest with the Minors and Ladies footballers both playing on Wednesday evening.  
  • The hurling championships begin next weekend with the first game in the round robin at home to Trinity Gaels on Saturday at 6pm in Clontarf.  
  • The Junior football championship is confirmed for 1st May at home to Ballinteer St Johns while details of the Intermediate fixtures will be confirmed next week.  
  • There will be a full round of juvenile fixtures at the weekend too.

  • The Easter Camp was a great success and the fine weather certainly made the event even more enjoyable.  Over 110 juveniles took part during the week with the trip to Croke Park on Thursday the highlight of the camp for many.  Well done to Joanne and her team of coaches for organizing all the activities.  
  • Well done also to Sarah Keohane and the Dublin Under 14 Girls on their win on Saturday in the Leinster championship and to all Dublin teams at the weekend.

  • Special mention this week for Under 14 Girls who participated in Division 1 of the Ladies Feile on Saturday. The team reached the semi final and were beaten by the eventual winners Foxrock Cabinteely.  Well done to all the players, mentors and parents who have worked so far over the past few months - we are proud of your performances on and off the field.  
  • Good wins in the football leagues for both the Intermediates in Division 3 and Juniors in Division 8, at the weekend.  
  • Under 15s and Minors both won their Division 2 hurling league games.  
  • Intermediate football championship fixtures are due to be confirmed shortly.  
  • The Under 11 Girls enjoyed their opportunity to play in Croke Park on Monday as part of the 'Go Games' 2014 launch.

  • The Easter Camp is underway, running from Monday to Thursday this week.  
  • Over 110 juveniles are participating and all are looking forward to their trip to Croke Park on Thursday.

  • Great 2nd half performance by the Dublin footballers on Sunday to secure a place in the Division 1 League final.  Well done also to the Dublin Minor hurlers on their win in the Leinster championship.

  • The hurlers made it two wins in a row in the  Division 4 league with a good performance on Saturday evening in Clontarf.  
  • The Junior hurlers had a bye in their league.  
  • Some impact on fixtures over the last few days with games postponed due to the weather / pitch conditions.  As a result the Division 4 Ladies play their first fixture this week with a game away to Raheny @ 6.45pm on Wednesday.  Support welcome! 
  •  The Minor boys had a good win in their league game on Sunday morning with the Under 15s also claiming the points in their fixture. 
  • Under 9s travelled to Beann Eadair on Saturday morning and the Under 8s welcomed Erins Isle to Clontarf.

  • The Dublin Ladies Feile competition takes place on 12/13th April. The Under 14s are taking part in Division 1 which will take place in Pairc Uí Mhurchú, Ballyboden St Endas.  The Girls will play Kilmacud Crokes, Templeogue Synge St & Erins Isle.  The new gear and equipment was handed over to the players following the league game on Monday evening.  Best of luck to all players, mentors and parents involved.

  • Great excitement in the Club last week as the Under 12 boys were selected to play in Croke Park on Saturday during the Dublin v Mayo league game.  Well done to all the boys, mentors and parents for their excellent performance and thanks to all in Dublin GAA for organising this great experience.  
  • Good result for the hurlers in Division 4 on Sunday with a win over St Marks while the juniors were beaten in their league game.  
  • It's Adult hurling again next weekend with the AHL4 game on Saturday evening v Ballyboden St Endas in Clontarf at 6pm. 
  • Ladies begin their Cup campaign this week with a game in Clontarf v O'Tooles @ 6pm on Wednesday.  Support welcome!  
  • The Minor boys footballers lost their game on Sunday while the Minor girls had a great win in their league fixture with a festival of goals.  
  • Some disruption to fixtures on Saturday following the rain on Friday / Saturday although most games went ahead.  
  • Under 8s enjoyed their football blitz on Saturday morning in St Davids with St Vincents and O'Tooles.

  • Good wins in both the AFL3 and AFL8 games in Clontarf on Sunday.  The Intermediates opened with a win over N Fionnbarra followed by the Juniors v Kilmacud Crokes.        
  • Two rounds of adult hurling leagues take place over the next two weekends with the addition of Saturday evening fixtures  from 5th April.        
  • Lots of games at the weekend for our juvenile teams with some great performances including the Under 8s and 10s as well as the Under 13 girls and Under 15 boys.

  • The Under 14 girls hosted a Coffee Morning / Cake Sale / Sausage Sizzzzle Feile fundraiser on Saturday.  There were lots of home made specialities on display and a big thank you to everyone who supported the event.  Well done to all the girls, parents and the team management.

  • The Club extends it's condolences to both the Cushen and McVeigh families on their recent bereavements.

  • No adult fixtures this weekend but both football teams play next Sunday 23rd.       
  • AFL3 game v N Fionnbarra at 10.3am and the AFL8 team play Kilmacud Crokes at 12 noon with both fixtures at home in Clontarf.       
  • There was a full round of fixtures for both boys and girls teams with most teams playing away.      
  • The Under 8s travelled to Ballymun while the Under 9s were in O'Tooles.  Among the highlights, good wins for the Under 13 and 14 Girls and the Under 15 Boys in their Division 2 hurling league game.

  • The club hosted a 'Taste of Ireland' event on St Patrick's Eve, with music and a special Irish menu.  Well done to Joan Naughton and her team for organizing the event.

  • Mixed results in the adult football leagues games on Sunday with a loss in Division 3 and a win in Division 8.        
  • No adult fixtures next weekend due to the St Patrick Day bank holiday on Monday.

  • A very high scoring draw for the Under 14 girls in the Division 1 league on Sunday which was preceded by a great win for the Under 15 Boys in the Division 2 football league in the morning.

  • The club is hosting a special 'Taste of Ireland' event on St Patrick's Eve, Sunday 16th March.  The event will feature 'Caint, Ceoil agus Craic' as well as a special menu.  Entry is €10 and you can contact Joan Cushen for further details.       
  • The Under 14 girls started their Feile fundraising on Saturday with a bag packing event with a great response from the players and parents.       
  • Club shop is open every Saturday from 10am-12 noon to get your gear for the new season. Socks, shorts, mouthguards and gloves are in stock along with a variety of other equipment.       
  • Well done to Seán O'Dubhlain and the Colaiste Eoin team on their win in the Leinster Football championship final.

  • A good start to the Adult hurling season with a draw in the Division 4 game and a win in the Division 9 fixture both played on Sunday.  
  • Special mention for the new Ladies Football Minor team who secured the points in their first league game. 
  • Next weekend sees Adult football fixtures with away games for both the Intermediates (v Clontarf in Division 3 @ 10.30am) and the Junior (v Na Fianna in Division 8 at 12 noon).

  • Fantastic response from Members Tickets for the GAA Club Draw with a busy weekend completing the complex return spreadsheet for Dominic & John.  Special thanks to all the coordinators especially Gerry Rowley who put in great work over the past few weeks.
