About Me

¡Hola!  My name is Jamie Simon Linkowitz, and I am the Spanish teacher.  I am originally from Eagan, which is a suburb of St. Paul.  After high school, I went to Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.  During my junior year of college, I attended La Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.  In May 1998, I graduated with a degree in Spanish education.
After graduation, I taught in St. Paul Public Schools for 12 years.  I taught 9 years at Hazel Park Middle School Academy, and 3 years at Central High School.  During this time, I also earned my master's degree in Teaching Second Languages and Cultures from the University of Minnesota.  While teaching in St. Paul, I had the opportunity to travel with students to Spain, Costa Rica, and Argentina.
In 2010, I moved to Park Rapids, and began working in Sebeka in 2013. My day is shared between Menahga and Sebeka Schools.  I am in Menahga in the mornings, and in Sebeka in the afternoons. It is easiest to get ahold of me by email...jsimon@g.sebeka.k12.mn.us
