Mission Statement

The mission of the library program at Iola Roberts Elementary is to support the school’s instructional program to improve student learning and student achievement. Our goal is to ensure that students and teachers have access to resources to be successful in the 21st century classroom. The Library Media Program will encourage students to be critical thinkers and to become lifelong learners and effective users of ideas and information.

Student Guidelines

Students may come to the library everyday from 7:30-2:45.

Students can check out 2 books at a time from the library.  The loan period is 2 weeks (14 days).    If a student has an overdue library book, they can not get another book from the library until the overdue book is returned or the child pays for the cost of replacing the book.  Iola Roberts library will not charge any fines for overdue materials.  However, if a library book is lost or damaged replacement costs for the material must be paid before the patron can check out any more materials.
