Adam is a native of Oconee County who graduated from Walhalla High School in 2003. After several years of working locally, in 2009 he enlisted in the United States Army as a combat medic. Adam was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan.
In 2013, upon leaving the US Army, Adam was hired by the Central Police Department. He spent 12 weeks at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy where he received his Basic Law Enforcement Certification and was named Central Police Officer of the year in 2014. He has since taken advanced certification classes such as, Crime Scene for New Investigators and School Resource Officer training.
As many can attest, there is nothing like home. Bearing that in mind, Adam sought employment with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Department. He started with a certified position in Animal Control; however, after a few short months, a position within the SRO unit opened and he applied. In February 2017 Adam started at Seneca High School.
On January 3, 2019 Adam moved to West-Oak High School.
Adam looks forward to building partnerships within the school with the students and staff to promote a safer community.
