Jordei is a transplant from Pickens County, South Carolina who currently resides in Oconee County. After graduating college from Southern Wesleyan University with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2012, she worked at a local plant before being employed with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office in 2014.
Once she received her Basic Law Enforcement Certification from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, she was assigned to night shift where she became the shift Evidence Technician and Field Training Officer on road patrol. Although she loved being on road patrol, she felt there was a greater need to help keep the children of Oconee County safe. As the mother of two, she realizes that is top priority and major concern for parents when they send their children to school.
Being a law enforcement officer has always been a dream and she looks forward to using her position as a School Resource Officer to make positive changes and be a role model to the youth.
