- Homework: Handout 3.2.1D In the chart on this handout under the column "Cell Structure Differences" name some of the structures you see (or ones that you don't see) that make the cells in the pictures different from the ones we've studied in class. Then in the "Justification" column, give a reason why that cell would have more of a particular structure or less of a particular structure.
- Example: If you are looking at a cell from the immune system, you might list more Golgi and more Endoplasmic Reticulum as "Cell Structure Differences." Under "Justification," you might explain that immune cells make antibodies to fight disease, which are proteins that leave the cell. Since proteins that leave the cell are made by the ER and Golgi, there would be more of those structures in an immune cell.
