Service and Action

Service Mission Statement: DISD MYP makes it a priority to foster Service Learning through: teachers leading by example and sharing their own service experiences as part of their curriculum, endorsing age-appropriate service opportunities that align with specific learning objectives and finally granting time to students to both reflect and discuss their service with the staff and with their peers.

*Students are informed that there is no required amount of service hours to be performed. Below is a suggested number of hours by year.
