Elementary Club 21

Cottonwood Creek and Wilson Elementary

This fall, the Coppell Independent School District has made a transformational step as it makes a true shift to 21st century learning and the goal of learner centered schools supporting future ready learners. As a tool to support this transformation, Coppell ISD has issued an  iPad to every 4th and 5th grade learner at Cottonwood Creek and Wilson Elementary. This iPad initiative, Elementary Club 21, is a means to provide ways for some of our younger learners to make connections to the world and to each other.

Why? iPads...

  • when integrated into the daily learning experience, support future ready skills such as collaboration, communication and critical thinking.

  • serve as a tool for consumption and creativity.

  • enable anytime, any place flexibility for learners throughout the school day.

  • allow learners to conduct research and demonstrate their knowledge of content.

  • provide a means for personalized learning.

  • deliver immediate feedback on learners’ progress of skills and content mastery.

  • house a wide variety of apps and capabilities that provide an interactive engaging learning environment.
