Shown to the right is the South Carolina state delegation at the National Leadership and Skills Conference in 2012. In the front row, third from the left, we have Ms. Jackie Clarkson, the South Carolina state SkillsUSA director. I am about four rows from the back, in my white polo (trade dress). This picture was taken on the steps leading from the ground floor to the mezzanine floor in the Marriott, where we were staying for the duration of the conference, just before the closing and awards ceremony.
The pictures in the slideshow above show my experience at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in June, 2012, where I placed 2nd in the nation in graphic communications, in the post-secondary division. This experience cemented my resolve to continue to strive in my training for WorldSkills as well as in all of my leadership opportunities at Clemson University. I am truly thankful to all those who have supported me and continue to support me in all of my endeavors.
