For Students

FSG and AEPA can help you involve your student community in your energy project!

Did you know that schools spend more on energy than they do on computers and textbooks combined?  Help engage your students and use your lighting upgrade as a teaching experience!

Student Energy Survey
Students can learn about the lighting measures that are being installed, and can even participate in the audit process.  The attached (found below) School Energy Survey student and teacher guides help walk you through the process of involving your students.  The Energy Tool kit can be supplied to students to allow them to engage in the audit hands on. The AEPA Coop agreement includes on site training, which  can include a student assembly as well.
Community Outreach
Students can also engage the local community and help them understand the value of saving energy in their own home. With the help of FSG  HelpLightNJ, a group of NJ high school students distributed over $2 million in energy saving light bulbs to needy families and seniors.
