Welcome to the Music Department at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind!  We serve over 200 students across campus through classes, lessons, and performing groups.  Classes currently include Guitar, Band, Chorus, and Music Technology.  We teach lessons on all of the instruments, including band, strings, voice, piano, and percussion.  We have many opportunities for group participation and performing - OuttaSight, N'Vision, Drum Line, and Elementary Music Theatre are some of the most popular.

We firmly believe in the power of music to shape the whole child...to help make him or her independent, happy, and full of self-esteem and self-discipline.  Music is a very powerful influence in the lives of students.  Take a look around the site for more information about our Department.  Thanks for checking us out!
