Hello and welcome to fifth grade! I am excited to be teaching mathematics and science to the fifth grade class this year at Sem. This will be my 9th year teaching at Sem.

My husband, Dave, and I moved to Frisco in 2007 with our four children. In 2009 I decided to pursue my passion for teaching and received my Masters of Arts in Teaching from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas in 2011. I taught secondary mathematics at a private school in Denton after graduating TWU for about four years and began working at Sem since 2015.

Sem has a special place in my heart. My children attended this sweet school when we relocated from California to Texas. Frisco schools have offered a positive learning environment for my four children. Karlynn is now back in California and a graduate of ICOHS working as a Professional Massage Therapist, David graduated from A&M with an Aerospace Engineering degree, Lauren graduated from Texas Christian University with a Science and Biology degree and is pursuing medicine, and Ashlynn is entering her junior year at UNT. I look forward to doing my best to help your child benefit and excel as mine have from FISD.
