Green screen video is video filmed in front of a green background so that the green area can be replaced by other photos or video after filming. 

To create green screen video, you need to have a program with the specific ability to handle this type of task. A few of the most popular apps that will handle this are listed below. Talk to your DLC to find out which might be best suited for your project or which may already be installed on your school devices. 

WeVideo is available on Chromebooks, iOS devices and Android Devices. We have paid district accounts for WeVideo that your DLC can help get set up for your class before your project date.  

iMovie is included on all iPhones and iPads. Here are directions for using its green-screen effect.

VeeScope (free) is available for iOS devices and some campuses may already have this installed on school devices. 

DoInk ($2.99) is available for iOS devices and some campuses may already have this installed on school devices. 

WeVideo An important aspect for creating green screen videos is the images or video clips that you might use as your background- the part that would replace the green space in your video.
