To be prepared for this Friday’s test, the student should be able to:

Ø State the differences/similarities between an inequality and an equation.

Ø Know the key words or phrases to indicate which inequality symbol to use.

Ø Write an inequality from a verbal statement.Ø Write a verbal statement that would describe an inequality.

Ø Match a graphed inequality with the correct solution.

Ø Be able to state which numbers would belong/not belong in a solution set.

Ø Solve Inequalities and graph the solution on a number line.

·        One-Step Inequalities

·        Two-Step Inequalities

·        Multi-Step Inequalities with Distributive Property and Grouping Like Terms.

Ø Solve word problems where you have to write an inequality to describe a situation and then solve the inequality.
