Hidden in Plain Sight is tonight from 6:00-7:00 pm in the STEAM Center. This program will educate parents on things they might find in their child's room, book bags, vehicles, and other places that could indicate involvement in risky behavior.  Errickson School is having their annual Field Day on Thursday, May 18th (Rain Date 5/24).  They are asking for some responsible 8th grade Eisenhower volunteers who are former Errickson students to help with the festivities.  If you are interested, please see your homeroom teacher for details.  You will need to complete a volunteer application with a parent signature and return it to the Guidance Office by Thursday, May 4th.  Approximately 10 applications will be randomly selected to help with Errickson Field Day.

 ***Special Note – Parents are responsible to transport you to and from Errickson. If you are involved with the Back in Black concert, you will need to pick up at Eisenhower after the concert and be taken to Errickson.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT  Those students who are planning to run for an Eisenhower Student Government Executive Board Position (i.e. President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary) are to turn in a printed copy of their campaign speech and four posters to Mr. Krupp in room 549 on Wednesday, May 03rd or Thursday, May 04th. The next meeting will be for our candidates on Thursday, May 04th at 7:00 a.m. to review that these expectations have been met. Also, if you have placed a Student Government clothing order, please see Mr. Krupp to pick-up your clothing.

BACK IN BLACK The DDES Back in Black and Gold performance class is once again taking orders for DDES gear.  This year, however,  we are offering a special 10th anniversary edition  The items we are offering are all black imprinted with the above logo with the tee shirt and long sleeve tee having additional text on the back.  If you are interested in ordering merchandise, please print and submit a completed form along with payment made out to “DDES Student Activity Fund” and place it in Anne Preston’s mailbox in the main office by Friday May 5th.  The proceeds will benefit the Back in  Black and Gold Class.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT  Those students who are planning to run for an Eisenhower Student Government Executive Board Position (i.e. President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary) are to turn in a printed copy of their campaign speech and four posters to Mr. Krupp in room 549 on Wednesday, May 03rd or Thursday, May 04th. The next meeting will be for our candidates on Thursday, May 04th at 7:00 a.m. to review that these expectations have been met. Also, if you have placed a Student Government clothing order, please see Mr. Krupp to pick-up your clothing.

SOFTBALL Congratulations to our Lady Generals Softball team for registering their first win!  This was the season opener against Marlboro Middle School, yesterday. The girls won with the score of 8-0.  Bats were alive with 7 different players scoring our 8 runs.  We would like to also congratulate Gianna Praet on pitching a perfect game, striking out 19 of 21 batters!!!  GO TEAM!!!!

MORNING MEDITATION CLUB will be cancelled next week due to PARCC testing.
