Licensing

In New York State, childcare centers serving three or more children and operating three or more hours a day on a regular basis must show that the day care program meets requirements that the state has established to help ensure the health and safety of children in care. CCCC is licensed as a childcare facility through NYS Office of Children and Family Services. Licensers come up for renewal every 2 years.

Accreditation - Preschool Programs
The National Association For The Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredits licensed daycare centers through its Academy for Early Childhood Program. It is the nation's largest organization of early childhood educators. This organization administers a national, voluntary, professionally sponsored accreditation system to help raise the quality of all types of preschools, kindergartens, child care centers, and school-age child care programs. CCCC Early Care and Education program has been an accredited site since 1990.
