It's not Somebody Else's Problem anymore.

Climate change is a real problem, a really big problem.  We all wish it would go away, or that it would turn out to be a lot of fuss about nothing, or that someone else would solve it for us, so that we can go about our business as usual.

But the reality is that climate change is already taking place and it's not slowing down any time soon.  Addressing this problem is going to take big changes in how we meet our needs for energy, transportation, and food.  Making these changes will take time, resources, and commitment.  The longer we wait, the more costly these changes will be.

Where do we start?  We educate ourselves.  Knowledge is power.  We learn about what is going on and how our current practices are contributing to global warming and climate change.  We learn about alternative practices, and what it will take to make the transition.  We advocate for the policies and the investment in research and infrastructure that will enable this transition.  We lobby for change at the local, regional, national, and international levels.  We learn about what others are doing to address the problem, and we work together.

It's a massive challenge, perhaps the greatest one we've ever faced.  We need all hands on deck.  We need you.

Our mission is to provide resources and opportunities for people to learn about climate change and the actions we need to take to address it, and to advocate for action at the local, state, national, and international levels.
