Ms.Stanton began her teaching career as a K-7 Library Media Specialist, in Bogota, NJ, in 1980.  In 1983, she began working in Franklin Lakes, at the Colonial Road School Library and then moved to Woodside Avenue School Library in 1995.  She holds an AA degree in Horse management from Northwest College, Powell Wyoming, a BA in Elementary Eduction/Library Science and a MEd, with a concentration in Educational Media, from William Paterson University.  She is a certified K-8 classroom teacher and a K-12 Educational Media/Library Specialist.
