Teaching Philosophy

Physical education provides each student tools to develop a healthy lifestyle. Each student is unique with their abilities and goals. Physical education at FAMS is an enjoyable experience for each student to develop social and physical skills while  enjoying physical activities with their fellow classmates. The goal is to provide a positive and fun experience for each student based on their individual abilities.

Mr. Carroll obtained his degree in Physical Education from William Paterson University in 2014. Prior to William Paterson University Mr. Carroll attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was a member of the baseball team participating in two NCAA Baseball Regionals in 2008 and 2009. In 2010 Mr. Carroll transferred to William Paterson University received NJAC honors in baseball prior to his selection in the 2010 MLB draft by the Minnesota Twins. Mr. Carroll played professional baseball for two (2) years as he continued his college education. Mr. Carroll is a certified Instructor for First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross.
