The district recognizes the importance of homework as part of the educational process and has adopted policy #61654 that establishes homework guidelines. Homework posted on this website is as up-to-date as practically possible, is subject to revision, and serves as a guide for students and parents.
*Please check your monthly planner and homework due dates regularly. Homework should always be written down in your assignment pad in the beginning of class as a back-up.
Miss Burnup is extremely excited to begin her 5th year as a 6th Grade Language Arts Teacher at FAMS! She received her undergraduate degree in English and Secondary Education at Montclair State University, and she is now pursuing a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through California Coast University. Prior to teaching at FAMS, Miss Burnup also taught K-8th grade students English and Math at AVTECH Institute of Technology. She absolutely loves being in the middle school setting and is very passionate about shaping students academically, socially and personally at this very important stage of their lives. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, singing,
reading Young Adult novels and traveling.
