KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION PREPARATION FOR FAIRFIELD

 KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

If you haven’t done so, you must inform the school of your intent to have your child attend Kindergarten in Fairfield for September. Supply the information below, in order for the registration packet to be ready for you. Do this ASAP.

E-mail Mrs. Festa at festak@fpsk6.org with the information below to be sure your packets will be available. A packet cannot be prepared without this information.

·         Child’s name

·         Address

·         One telephone number where parent can be reached

·         Child’s Date of Birth

·         Gender

·         Parent(s) full names

·         Do you own your home, rent, or live with a resident.*

*If you live with a resident, does that resident own or rent?

1.    If your child is currently in our preschool class, your packet will be sent home with them. Check their backpacks.

2.    If your child has a sibling in school already, the packet will be sent home with the youngest sibling. Check their backpacks.

3.    If you are new to the district or have no other children currently attending our schools, your packet will be mailed home.

4.    If you want to pick up the packet come in after January 2nd.

It is important to complete your child’s registration by March 15th.

In regard to the March 15 completion of registration.

·         If your child’s physical is not due until after this date, the physical and immunizations can be handed in separately, after your doctor visit.

·         However, receipt of the other items (i.e. registration form, birth certificate, residency documentation, etc.) must be completed by the March 15th due date.
