Summer Reading

Students attending IAR next year are required to read at least 3 books this summer.  One book has to come from the pamphlet (see below).  The other two books are free choice.  To start school off right next year, make sure you (1) Log every book you read (see below), (2) Ask your parents/guardians to sign the log, (3) Bring your log to your Language Arts class on the first day of school.

Summer Math

Students can also choose to participate in the Commissioner of Education's Summer Math Challenge.  You can register by clicking here.  Students who register will receive emails from June 19 to July 28.  Students can also earn badges for mastering new math concepts.  If you choose to participate, print your log and bring it to your math teacher in the first week of school.
