    The Great

    Pajama & Book Drive

We are starting a service learning project in our class. The mission of this drive is to provide for children in need of pajamas and books.  These are children who live in group homes, shelters, foster care, and orphanages.  Our class wants to help these children in need. Together we can make this happen!

If you would like to participate, please have your child bring a new pair of pajamas or a book to school.  Donations will be accepted until Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Students who bring in a book or pajama will be entered into a drawing for a prize(s).

Here are some simple guidelines for the pajamas:

    *Pajamas must be brand-new.

*Pajamas in all sizes are needed—from newborn to adult.

*Pajamas must be in complete sets or nightgowns.

*Pajamas in children’s sizes must be manufactured as pajamas— this ensures that they are flame-retardant and safe.

*Books can be brand-new or slightly old but in good condition.

Thank you for helping us share the gift of a good night’s sleep and the gift of reading.

  • NEW BOOK
    New to Marshall's Library.
Jasper Rabbit is NOT a little bunny anymore. He can pick out any pair of underwear he wants and everyone knows that Creepy Underwear are the coolest. Even if they give off a ghoulish, greenish glow.  It's NOT like Jasper is scared. He just might be done with his Creepy Underwear......But are they done with him?

The James Marshall Elementary School Library serves 455 students, Pre-K through Second grade and 20 faculty members.

The Marshall Library is fully automated. The Library collection contains nonfiction and fiction books which support the school's curriculum. In addition, the Library maintains  a vast collection of audio resources and online databases which, at the click of a mouse, are accessible to students, staff and parents.

Also, it is important for our Marshall parents to know that you are always welcome to check out books during the Library hours of operation. We will  be happy to see you!
