Instructions: for using Super Web Plus + USB Stick:

1.  Plug the USB stick into one of the USB ports on your Computer.

2.  After you plug the Super Web into your computer’s USB port, you should hear a chiming noise to indicate that your computer recognizes a new device has been inserted.  

3.  You will then be prompted to run the X-Play Software. Allow Windows to run this program and it should bring you to the “Main Menu”. 

*Note If the X-Play Software does not run or appear when you plug in Super Web Plus, open "My Computer" and locate the USB port where the USB Stick is located (this should be represented by a TV icon). Double click, and run the x-play.exe software. This should open it up to the main menu.

*It is recommended that you update to the latest version of Java and Flash before running the Super Web Plus+ Stick Program.

4.  When the main menu is opened, there will be a pop up with a yellow exclamation mark. Allow it to run all Java scripts for the software. This allows the TV/RADIO program to be streamed directly to your computer. You now have the freedom to choose whatever programs you would like to watch, play, listen or view at your leisure!


The Main Menu

The Main Menu is located on the bottom left of the program window, and is split into the following Categories:

A - TV - This is where you can view Television Stations.

B - Radio - This is where you can listen to Radio Stations.

C - Game - This is where you can play Internet Java and Flash Games.

D - Product Description - This is where you can learn more about the Super Web Plus+ stick.

The Channel List 

The Channel List can be found at the top left hand corner under the program window. The channels are separated into categories, where they are organized by the following:

A - Global Rank Type - This is where channels are organized by their global audience rating.

B - Global Rank Area - This is where you can find TV stations based on continental regions. EX: North America

C - Global Rank Language - This is where you can look for channels organized by languages.

D - My Favorites - This is where you can find your bookmarked favorite channels.

E - Weather - This is a built in weather function for the USB stick. Type in nearest major neighboring city to get weather reports.


How to Select and Play a Channel/Station

After selecting what Region area you would like to View, Listen or Play; double click the selected channel of interest, located right of the regions list, to play it in the Viewing Box. The Viewing Box will automatically pop up when you double click a channel.

The Search Bar

You can also find specific channels via the search bar. This is located at the very top right hand of the program window.

*Important: If you have anti-virus or a firewall, some channels may require access and ask for your permission to continue to view the station. Some channels may not be accessible until the channel has your permission to stream through your computer.


Unplugging The Super Web

Click on the “X” icon on the top right hand corner of the Super Web viewing screen to close the program. Then to eject the device from your computer, go to the toolbar at the bottom of your screen. In the right hand corner there should be an icon of a plug.  As you hover your mouse over the icon it should say “safely remove hardware and eject media”.  Click on that icon, then remove the Super Web from your computer’s USB port.  Store it in a dry, cool place.


The Viewing Box

The viewing box is where the you can watch the TV Channels you selected, listen to the Radio Station you selected or play the game selected. The Viewing Box is broken into two sections:

A - The Viewing Box - This area displays the content TV channels, radio stations and the location of where you can play games.

B - The Play Bar - This is located at the very bottom of the Viewing Box. You can Play, Stop, Rewind, Fast Forward and Control the Volume, and Record from the Play Bar.


Terms to Know

Buffering - In streaming audio or video from the Internet, buffering refers to downloading a certain amount of data before starting to play the music or movie.

K Bit / Second - The speed and quality the player is running at.

Java script – A software that runs to animate or run menus. It is recommended to have the latest version of Java updated. You can download the latest Java software at http://www.java.com

Flash - An adobe software used for internet games and animation. You can download the latest Flash at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Q. Do I need to update or install any programs before using the Super Web?

A. It is recommended that you update to the latest version of Java and Flash before running the Super Web Plus+ Stick Program.

Q. How do I install or update Java and Flash software programs, as suggested in the directions? 

A.  It is recommended to have the latest version of Java updated. You can download the latest Java software at http://www.java.com

Flash is an adobe software used for internet games and animation. You can download the latest version of Flash at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ 

Q. Does the Super Web work on both Mac & PC? 

A. No.  The Super Web only works on PC’s.  It will not work on Mac computers.  

Q. Is this water resistant or water proof?

A.  The Super Web is not water resistant or water proof and should be kept away from water and other liquids. 

Q. How do I bookmark my “favorite channels”?

A. Click on the box with a heart, located to the left of the channel (next to the box with a question mark in it).

This will automatically add the channel to your "favorite channels".
