Fiction - books or stories that are made up. 
Fiction is Fake. 
Fiction is not real. 
Fiction is make-believe. 
Fiction stories have things to make the story more interesting like a title, plot, characters, and/or illustrations.

Nonfiction - books that are about real people, places and/or things. 
Nonfiction is Real. 
Nonfiction is full of Facts. 
Nonfiction is Informational. 
Nonfiction books have things to help you learn like a glossary, index, title, bold print, photos and illustrations.

Nonfiction books can be more difficult to read than fiction books because of the advanced vocabulary.
