SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK
The Fort Frye Staff and Students are AWESOME! State testing can be very stressful for everyone.
Our teachers and students have done a great job preparing for these high stakes tests.
When the entire AIR testing system crashed as we were beginning to test part II of the English test, our
staff and students handled everything extremely well and were very flexible. We waited for a while to see if
the problem was corrected, then had a Plan B if it came up soon, then a Plan C if it came up after lunch, and
a plan D if it didn't come back up until the next day. Our cafeteria Staff adjusted their schedule to
accommodate Plan B and C. In what could have been a difficult time, everyone remained positive and worked
together to make adjustments as we were at the mercy of the state testing system.
We were able to make-up Grades 8 & 10 on Thursday and Grades 7 & 9 will make their part II up on Tuesday.
Thank You to EVERYONE for all your work and having such a positive attitude and being so flexible!
