The Joseph F. Hickey Library is named for, and dedicated to, the memory of Joseph F. Hickey, II, who served as a Forsyth School trustee from 1976-1984 and board president from 1980-1983. He contributed to Forsyth School's growth with his leadership, vision, and love.
The library is committed to fostering a love of literature. It is a cozy haven for students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade to explore and grow in the world of words. The facility, in beautiful Gerdine House, serves as a reminder of the role that architecture can play in inspiring learning and physically reflecting and supporting educational ideals.
