I LOVE teaching at Elbow Elementary and first grade is my favorite grade of all. My mission in teaching our first grade students is to treat your child the way I would want my own children to be treated, with respect and love and to challenge them in all areas of their lives. First grade is, in my opinion, the hardest grade of all because there are so many expectations for our little ones. I hope you can use this web page as a tool to work with me in order to give your child the best education possible.
All About ME!
I LOVE teaching at Elbow Elementary and first grade is my favorite grade of all.
This is my 14th year at Elbow, but I have been teaching for 30 years with experience in first grade, gifted and talented, physical education, kindergarten and preschool. My husband is Ricky Adams and we have three children; Austin, my oldest, is a student ministry director at Lakepoint Church in Rockwall and his sweet wife, Ashley, is an interior designer. They are parents to our grandchild, Nora Kate (3 yrs old) and Jonas Gray (9 mos). Kendal, my middle child, is a speech pathologist and her husband, Casey Barham are living in Wichita Falls and expecting a baby girl in October. Haley, our youngest, and her husband Shelby are both teaching in Big Spring. Haley is teaching Family Consumer Science at BSHS and Shelby is a history teacher and coach at BSJH.
