EDUCATION PROGRAM LEADER

Got Fun?  The Bookmobile and after school programs are a fun bunch of people that love kids and deliver high-quality programs that build community and inspire learning.   Join our team as a vital driver to promote life long learning.

This position is a combination of service for both the FGI Bookmobile and the FNWSU After School Programs.

The position of Education Program Leader (EPL) brings literacy and enrichment to youth from 0 to 18 years old.   EPL will be on the road driving the Franklin-Grand Isle Bookmobile as well as in the office.   The EPL delivers story time to child care settings and other sites across the region.   Data tracking is a key element requiring use of Microsoft Excel and other computer programs as needed.   Additionally there will be office time for computer, phone, planning, meetings, organizing activities, events and fundraising.      

Our after school program operate 2:30 - 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday leading and assisting with youth programs which range from enrichment, humanities, recreation, nutrition and beyond. 

The position is open immediately and anticipated to follow the school year ending June 30 with school vacations off/unpaid.   Anticipated to be 30 hours per week, Monday through Thursday 6 hours per day, Fridays 5 hours and 4 hours monthly for evening and weekend events.

TEAM LEADER POSITIONS (Swanton)

Assisting the Crossroads Site Coordinator, Team Leaders are present during the 
after school program time frame of 2:45 - 5:15pm, assisting with
snack distribution, 5pm bus dismissal, check in on after school classes for teacher needs,
substitute for staff absences, help set up class materials, assist with field trip coverage.
Looking for an all around helper.



AFTER SCHOOL BEHAVIORAL INTERVENTIONIST (Highgate)

New position for our Highgate Crossroads After School Program.  

After School Youth Worker - 32 weeks during school year, Monday through Thursdays, 2:45 to 5:15pm or 3:30 to 5:15pm daily.
Assisting After School Coordinator with behavior management and intervention with youth in grades 2 through 6.

Looking for a person with strong behavior management and intervention skills and experience, as well as the ability to instruct other after school staff in strategies and techniques for classroom and small group management.
