Welcome to Back to Father Beau!  My name is Alison MacLennan and I am your child's Grade One teacher for the 2017-2018 school year.  I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child over the next few months as we grow and learn together.  The next 10 months will be a great and exciting adventure!  I am so happy to be back in Abasand at Father Beauregard!

Morning Bell 8:05am
Recess 10:15 - 10:30

Please remember we are an apple school and a nut safe school.  Keep this in mind when packing your child's snack to ensure healthy choices are being made and food labels are being read.

Thanks for you help and support and if you have any comments or questions feel free to email me or come see me before or after class!!!

A huge thank you to all the parents who came out to Parent Teacher Interviews.  It was great to share and chat about your child's success over the past few months.  The kids have worked so hard over these past few weeks and I am very proud of all their accomplishments during the first term.  I am looking forward to see what growth they make during the second term.  Job well done by both students and parents and thanks for all your support!

We have finished our Apple School Announcements!  The kids were pretty bummed to know that it now is the responsibility of another class.  They did a wonderful job of reading their announcements each morning and again, thanks so much for your support at home.  It was so great to listen to them each morning and keeping us informed on how to be mindful!

There are many activities planned this month, Christmas Concerts, Beauville Week and last day for our Student EA to name a few.  Please remember to check Seesaw regularly for the latest updates on the events happening at school and in class.  This year's concert will be on Thursday, December 14th.  We hope you all can make it!

Our Christmas break will begin Friday, December 22 until Monday, January 8th.  I hope everyone enjoys their time with families and friends and safe travels to those of you heading out of town!
