Classroom Expectations are very important. You must ensure you are adhering to the expectations in order to achieve success. These include the following:
If you require an extension on a piece of work, you must speak to Miss Tremblay or email her at email@example.com
Any work missed due to absence (sickness, vacation, etc) is the responsibility of the student to complete. You do not automatically obtain exemption due to absence. You must speak with Miss Tremblay in order to discern what was missed during your absence.
Assessment is important, here at Father Mercredi we assess on several different fronts.
Formative work is the equivalent of practice work. It does not factor into your final grade, but it is used to help you gain the skills required to "knock it outta the park" on tests, quizzes, and other summative assessments.
Summative work is the assessments that will be graded and on your report cards. They factor into your final grade and show how well you practiced on Formative work.
If you notice your summative mark is low, always check your formative work. If you notice that you are not doing well or not completing your formative work, that could be why you are not doing so well summatively.
Any work not completed will be assigned for Tutorial Friday.
Miss Tremblay's classroom is a place to go to receive interesting information, and to keep up to date with topics and lessons. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Miss Tremblay at firstname.lastname@example.org
