Hello wonderful 3rd grade families!

I am very excited to be a part of your child's education here at Flour Bluff Elementary this year. I am in my 23rd year of teaching at the elementary level. I graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi with my BS degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and City University of Seattle with my Masters degree in Reading and Literacy. In 2010 I received my National Board Certification in Literacy. I am originally from Corpus Christi and have moved around with my husband during his time in the Navy. Our most memorable duty station was Misawa, Japan where we lived for three years. We lived in the Seattle area for 14 years and have been enjoying our time back here in South Texas. We have two daughters a 10th grader and a college freshman. This is going to be an exciting year for us all! I am eager to get to know you all and look forward to working with your children this year!
