Flour Bluff High School Library

Flour Bluff High School Library operates as a joint public/high school library with the Janet F. Harte Public Library through an agreement between the City of Corpus Christi and the Flour Bluff Independent School District. The mission of the Flour Bluff ISD Library program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information, promote the enjoyment of literature and reading, and encourage lifelong learning.

A limited number of eBooks and Audiobooks are also available through MackinVIA. To sign into MackinVIA, type FLOUR BLUFF HIGH SCHOOL, CORPUS CHRISTI, TX into the Site box, User ID is initials of your school, and Password is the mascot of your school (plural). Individual accounts may then be created by selecting Log In at the top right of the screen. Your User ID is your School ID# and Password is mascot of your school (plural).

FBHS Library Hours:

  • Monday - Friday:

  • 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

    • Closed for Conference & Lunch from 11:16 a.m. - 12:45 p.m (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri) and 11:52 a.m. - 1:21 p.m. (Wednesday).

During high school library hours (Mon - Fri: 8:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.), all high school students must enter and exit the library through the High School Library's entrance (located adjacent to high school).

Janet Harte Branch Library Hours:

    • Monday - Friday: 10 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.

    • Saturday: 10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

After school hours, students must enter and exit the library through Janet F. Harte Library's front entrance and must show their Student ID’s to the security guard to gain entrance.
