Flour Bluff ISD in partnership with Microsoft is now offering the latest Microsoft Office Suite 365 to all students with a flourbluffschools.org account.  This is for up to 5 of your PERSONAL devices including laptops, tablets, phones, or whatever is capable of running Office.  To install, visit www.office.com/getOffice365 or Google  “get office 365.” You will enter your flourbluffschools.org email address and follow the link in your email to install.


What should I be doing to prepare for college?

College Bound Freshman and Sophomores:


* Study and prepare for college admission exams. 

* Visit the web sites of your top college choices and request admission and scholarship information. 

* Talk to your parents about college costs and plan college visits. 

* Make sure you understand the admission requirements for your top college choices. 


College Bound Juniors: 

Take the PSAT in the fall. 

* Take the SAT or the ACT in the spring 

* Visit the web sites of your top college choices and request admission and scholarship information. 

* Talk to your parents about college costs and plan college visits. 

* Make sure you understand the admission requirements for your top college choices. 



College Bound Seniors: 


* Be aware of scholarship and admission application deadlines! 

* Use the "Senior College Checklist" to help you organize the application process 
(make sure your application is complete). 

* Check the status of your submitted admission application through the college web site. 

* Research Financial Aid and be prepared to submit your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon after Jan. 1st as possible. 


All students and their parents are welcome to visit the GO Center for assistance with the college admission and financial aid process. The GO Center is located in the counselors' office.
