About Mrs. D'Aloia

I grew up in White Bear Lake, but spent a lot of time in Forest Lake as a child, visiting my grandparents. After high school, I attended Concordia University, St. Paul where I graduated with a degree in secondary education (with an emphasis on Communication/Language Arts). I have a Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota in Deaf Education.

I have always loved learning and love sharing my love of learning with my students. However, when I'm not at school, I enjoy being at home with my husband & daughter, playing board games, sewing & attempting to be crafty, fishing, and reading.

...Oh, yeah...I have a hearing loss too.

On this website, you will find...

  • A link to my classes/calendar for students @ SWJH
  • A link to some cool resources both for students and parents (i.e. Deaf culture, technology/resources)
