Most people know me as the weird teacher who listens to scary music and has lots of kids. Oversimplification? Yes. Wrong? Nope :)

My wife and I got married in 2005. I received my BA from CSUF in 2006 and both my multiple and single subject teaching credential in 2007. I was hired at Troy in the summer of 2007 and have been happily teaching here ever since. Parenthood saw us hit the ground running in 2008 with the birth of our triplets - one boy and two girls. In order to get out of the house and go on dates once a week, my wife and I received our Master's Degrees of Education Administration in 2011. Not satisfied with the complexity of our lives, in 2014 we welcomed identical twin daughters into the world. And if that's not enough, we had a baby girl in January 2018. If you are keeping score, that is 3,2,1 = 6. Yep, definitely more complex now ;) But I would not have it any other way.

In case you made it this far, my interests are spending time with my family, listening to music (erroneously called "scary" by the students), traveling (I love Europe), gardening, and torturing students with my humor.
