Summer School FIS 2012: Cloud Computing Security Summer school will be based on security guidelines of non-for profit organization Cloud Security Alliance, with a mission to promote the use of best practices for providing security assurance within Cloud Computing, and to provide education on the uses of Cloud Computing to help secure all other forms of computing.
The objective of the summer school is to acquaint the participants with benefits and risks of Cloud Computing with regard to security, resilience and privacy. Participants will obtain knowledge of key security, governance, assurance, compliance, risks management, privacy concepts in cloud computing. Other objectives are to acquaint participants with ways how to implement stable and secure foundation for cloud operations and provide practical and efficient roadmap to managers wanting to adopt cloud computing in secure manner as an alternative or replacement of traditional infrastructure. Additionally, in two panels participants will have a chance to participate in exchange of opinions regarding key questions while moving to cloud computing:- Governance Panel: "pros and cons of moving to the cloud from a CEO/CFO perspective"
- Operations Panel: "the impact of Cloud on IT Operations"
