The Endeavour Sport Stack Club is now on its 7th year.  Each year the program has gotten bigger and the students are stacking faster.  I'm looking forward to another exciting year.

Sport Stack is an exciting individual and team sport where participants stack and down stack 12 specially designed, high-tech cups(Speed Stacks) in a predetermined pyramids with amazing dexterity.  Stackers race against the clock for individual times and race head-to-head in team relays.

Research shows that Sport Stacking:
* Helps develop motor skills, patterning, sequencing, focus and concentration.

* Promotes hand-eye coordination and ambidexterity, which are important skills in virtually all sports.

* Gives students the opportunity to use both sides of their body and brain to improve bilateral proficiency.

* Encourages students to set goals through establishing personal records

This year we will have the opportunity again to be involved in a world wide event called the"Stack Up".  This yearly event is put on by the WSSA (World Sport Stacking Association).  Endeavour and others schools and organizations around the world are all participating in breaking Guinness World Record in one day at multiple locations.

The students also will have the opportunity to participate and compete in the Northwest Regional Sport Stacking Championship in Portland, Oregon.

The Speed Stack Club is offered twice during the school year. Practices are held every Tuesday after school from 3:30 to 4:30 PM. All participants are subject to a $5.00 fee to join.  The 5.00 fee is non refundable. The fee is to help replace any damage cups and/or any other speed stacking expenses.

Permission slips for Session #1 will be available in late October.  More news to come later.
