You may also complete the application online (preferred) at In order to allow college partners to serve your student better, please check “YES” to the release of information statements on the application.

The application deadline is June 30 at the end of your student’s 8th grade year, so apply now!

As you fill out the application, your child will pledge to:
  • Graduate from a Washington high school with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Be a good citizen and stay out of serious legal trouble
  • Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in a timely manner
If your child keeps this pledge and your family’s income meets the requirement (your income will be verified at
graduation), the State will cover tuition (at public college rates),and a small book allowance, for up to four years at a
Washington public or private university, community college, or a technical college (see back for list of eligible schools).

and your child are taking the first step to a more secure and prosperous future – one that the State of Washington will
help you reach!
