Getting Assignments When a Student is Absent
Students can usually make-up assignments or tests that are missed due to an excused absence. Arrangements to complete any missed work should be made promptly. Missing work that is not addressed promptly can result in a poor grade.
If a student is out of school for a day or two, the STUDENT should:
- Check Google Classroom and/or the teachers web page to access assignments.
- Email the teachers directly to make arrangements to complete any work missed.
- Parents may also email their child’s teachers to request homework.
NOTE: If a student is planning to be out for 3 or more days, the student should complete a Pre-Arranged Absence Form at least 1 week prior to the planned absence.
