2005 Regenstein Workshop

In June 2005, the Museum held a Regenstein Workshop on the marae of Ruatepupuke II.  Attending were delegates from Tokomaru Bay, Auckland University, Te Papa Tongarewa (National Museum of New Zealand) in Wellington, and the expatriot Maori community in London.

We gathered on the marae at the Museum to discuss the enhancement of Ruatepupuke II and this marae in Chicago as a place for multicultural encounters informed by the values and world view of the Maori of New Zealand.
