Bus Routes for

2023/2024

Parents,

As it stands right now the routes that we had in May of 2023 will be the routes that we will start with this year. As always the students will be expected to be at their designated bus stops at least 5 minutes prior to the bus's scheduled arrival time. They will have assigned seats on the bus and will be expected to sit in that seat. Most younger students will be ask to sit 3 to a seat and depending on the load of the bus, older students may also have 2 other seat partners. Anything the students bring with them must fit in their laps or under the seat. It is against the law for anything to be out in the isle of the bus. Just like air planes "that is an emergency exit and MUST be clear at all times". If your student has flowers, balloons, or over sized projects or supplies to large to fit in their lap, some other form of transportation must be arranged. Those items are not allowed on the bus.

We will do everything in our power to keep your student as comfortable as we can. But our buses do not have Air Conditioning so during the warm months of the year make sure they have a bottle of water that they can drink on the bus. If you have any concerns or questions do not hesitate to contact the Transportation office. Someone is there to answer the phone from 6:30am until 5:00pm when school is in session.

If you know anyone that might be interested in helping us provide safe transportation for the Fair Grove R-10 Family,  have them contact me. We pay all expenses to obtain your Commercial Driver's License and $12 an hour while you are in training. New licensed drivers will receive $20 per hour as a full time route driver.

We are no longer using the bus number to identify the routes. We are using the "Route Number". It is displayed on a plaque just behind the door and under the first window on the right side of the bus.
