Fenwick Primary School is a U4 contributing school situated on the sought after South Hill in Oamaru. It is close to two kindergartens and to the central business district. We are just a ten minute walk from the Victorian Oamaru historic precinct. Our quality teachers and programmes ensure high quality education is delivered in a safe and supportive environment that caters to the needs of the individual child.

Our modern facilities include bright and colourful classrooms upgraded in January 2014. We have a community hall, well equipped library, sports fields and a heated swimming pool within our spacious grounds.

Each classroom has an Interactive Whiteboard, iPads as well as digital cameras to support programmes in digital learning.

Fenwick School has a neat blue and gold uniform worn by each child with pride.

Our school culture is strong and vibrant. Children are well supported to meet their potential both in and out of the classroom through a wide variety of Sporting, Cultural and Academic experiences. Children are encouraged to take on leadership opportunities as house captains, librarians, road patrollers as well as sports and activities leaders.

We have many cultural groups and activities within our school and community. We have a very vibrant Kaupapa Maori group, Pasifka group, choir and ukulele groups.

Fenwick is recognised for its Gifted and Talented programmes throughout the school in conjunction with  a separate programme run on a Thursday.

O.S.C.A.R (Out of School Care and Recreation) are based in our community hall Monday to Friday  before and after school  throughout the term as well as during School holidays.

Well done Fenwick's Famine children - money needs to be all in this week please to support the children of Bangladesh.
